Christmas shopping for my 10 year old niece and...ummm yea...just like the rest of 'em-that kid wants the world. The top of the world to be exact! Since I'm no longer getting her the style of boot below I decided to share a look for less. Makayla please believe I will never post your gifts on a blog I know you view :-).

Had my eye on the latest at Sorel and spotted the OLD NAVY version close to one hundred dollars LESS. I can see this style of boot on kids (and adults) in the cutest way! Just a little FYI if you are on the christmas gift hunt too.

NOVEMBER IS HIP HOP STYLE HISTORY MONTH!

 Although I’m not the hip hop head I used to be I can’t remember hip hop not being apart of my life. I remember being too young to indulge in certain styles that came with the hip hop era and watching my aunts and their friends get all fly girl FRESH before they stepped out. Those images, the styles, and the clothing will always have a special place in my world (I know those who actually read this blog should be right SICK of reading this part LOL). As we tell November 2011 buh-bye I’ll share final photos from hip hop’s stylish past and photos I styled last year that featured styles from yesteryear.

Fashion, style, food, family, and TV…pretty much sums me up. I think there is not a FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR episode I haven’t watched over and over again. The show aired long enough for Will’s style to change throughout the years and season after season he remained FRESH…

Amber Rose!!!

I mean really? Although I'm usually opposed to one dressing straight off the runway, without adding to or taking away from the look, I actually loved Amber's look. And according to the comments I saw online, when the awards aired last night, I'm the only one. If you can rock "granny swag" and still be a hottie I'm all for it! I could be yay-saying  because I love everything about Givenchy Fall 2011 runway or could be the fact that I am right SICK of "tranny swag" *shrugs*. If I hadn't seen Amber with my own eyes, and just went by what the nay-sayers were saying, I would've thought she was standing there in an ensemble that appeared to be made of raw bacon or raw steak *side eye*. 

I'll take "granny swag" ANYDAY over "tranny swag"...the covered Amber with a splash of Prada sunglasses did it for me!

And with the infulence Lil Wayne has on hip hop style hunters I'm sure one might want to literally KNOW "Where in the world did Lil Wayne get that yellow fur hat from?" I remember going OMG over Michael Kors Fall 2009 runway show and to see that style of hat go from runway to "real way" is...I actually have no words besides: KEEP DOING YOUR STYLE THING LIL WAYNE! ;-)

Most Wonderful Time

Thanksgiving Day = MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY! A day off to eat, lounge with family, eat, rest, eat, and EAT...I'm very thankful for it all! My niece is always good for pulling a giggle out of me and we were caught in the act below. Hope your THANKSGIVING DAY was good to you!
