Last month (during SIDE OF STYLE’S MALE STYLE MONTH) I received comments, messages, and emails from women stating that a lot of the male style samples I shared could easily convert to looks for women. I agreed completely! I was looking through some of my niece’s style samples (Explained the part she plays HERE) and when I viewed this particular style sample I thought back to the comments, messages, and emails I’d received last month. Wasn’t sure who this young man was (Until the nosey aunt in me googled him QUICKLY) but on the look my niece added this:

“The girl version of Corahn Lockridge!<3”.

And with that we can easily add a female spin on a look and recreate our version if we see a guy in an outfit that’s to our liking!

Paint the Town PINK

--A N.I.C.E. post for HOUSTON and surrounding areas--

Recently SIDE OF STYLE was invited to be apart of PINK (Victoria's Secret) opening its first stand alone store in The Woodlands and to interview Victoria’s Secret’s Angel Elsa Hosk. Due to a family emergency I could not attend the event (and with that I’m currently searching for SIDE OF STYLE stand by team members to make events like this when I can’t *winks*). But the good folks, who invited SIDE OF STYLE, were kind enough to send photos from the event. If you’re in/near The Woodlands I’m sure you’ll stop in PINK for your usual goodies, and I can’t wait to take my niece for a visit to pick up our usual PINK goodies! (“Usual” is used because it’s like who owns a PINK item and doesn't end up going back for more? LOL)

From my view Marlo Hampton is currently one of the best dressed women on the scene. Glammed up or glammed down, I’m in awe every time I spot her! Shout out to her Assistant/Wardrobe Stylist Daniel Hawkins.

I believe Anna Del Russo (A style stalkee that I mentioned HERE) played a part in the latest summer style trend-MIRROR LENSES. Spoke like a true Anna stalker right? The good thing about this trend is that anyone can rock it at any price.
