THE LITTLE THINGS

My date of birth is January 18th and lately my sister has been speaking in code red talk on her cell in my presence. Phone call after phone call of code red talk. And without asking her I know those calls and that code talk had to do with my date of birth and a gift...SMH! Everyone that knows me well enough to buy me a gift knows I usually don't want anything fashion/style related as far as clothing, shoes, and accessories goes (I hoard TOO MANY of those items in a public storage and in my home LOL). This time of year leaves some of my fam-friends-and associates confused as ever as to what to buy Key. Like I'm this picky glam goddess or something...really? I did this particular update at the last possible minute on 1/17/12 to show that it's the LITTLE THINGS that bring me so much joy! If you're reading this and have a friend with an upcoming birthday please don't rack your brain over thinking on some extravagance...she/he may appreciate the LITTLE THINGS just as much as I do ;-)

 

1) I'm extremely excited  to spend dinner time with my parents tomorrow evening (The best gift ever in my world!)

2) The latest Sally Hansen Salon Effects are everything...I mean everything to me! I would take one...maybe two or three LOL

3) I love quotes...new or old...and to see a quote, I relate to, printed in my favorite color makes it even better. Oh how I want this calendar:

4) Speaking of my favorite color...my favorite flower in my favorite color = ALL SMILES! I was just in Kroger's today speed walking towards these babies to price them:

5) A hilarious email with a silly photo like this attached brings relief to my stress filled days. He was in my inbox with Big Sean/Nicky Minaj's song "A@$ (DANCE)" playing and it made my day!!! LOL!!!:

6) My boss or client saying this:

7) A DIY ice cream sundae bar (off guard-AT HOME) will probably give me spaghetti legs on sight!

8) I really want one of these but for some reason I can't bring myself to buy it:

9) Another thing I've been putting off buying is all 6 shades of Maybelline's BABY LIPS...I want!

10) This print in a gold or yellow frame...YES INDEED!
