Painting the Town PINK

With October coming to a QUICK close I figured I’d share all the PINK goodness from www.facebook.com/sideofstyle. My aunt is currently battling breast cancer and I had the opportunity to style her in PINK. Good to know those few hours we shared during her styling session took her mind off her breast cancer battle and upcoming chemotherapy appointments. Thanks again Nakeya and Fallon for assisting with making October 20th a great day for Aunt Margaret! Those with cancer you are ALWAYS in my thoughts and prayers. ALWAYS.

 

Paint the Town PINK

Recently SIDE OF STYLE was invited to be apart of PINK (Victoria's Secret) opening its first stand alone store in The Woodlands and to interview Victoria’s Secret’s Angel Elsa Hosk. Due to a family emergency I could not attend the event (and with that I’m currently searching for SIDE OF STYLE stand by team members to make events like this when I can’t *winks*). But the good folks, who invited SIDE OF STYLE, were kind enough to send photos from the event. If you’re in/near The Woodlands I’m sure you’ll stop in PINK for your usual goodies, and I can’t wait to take my niece for a visit to pick up our usual PINK goodies! (“Usual” is used because it’s like who owns a PINK item and doesn't end up going back for more? LOL)

And before I go I must say Elsa Hosk is a true beauty; Thanks again for the invite/photos Milan!

Where's Sweatshirt?

Where's Sweatshirt? Okay...I admit "Where's Sweatshirt?" is not as catchy as "Where's Waldo?" but can you find the heather grey sweatshirt in the photos below? LOL!  I'm sure it's nothing like trying to spot Waldo! I'd been cold/flu symptom sick all week but I had to be up and at 'em early Saturday morning when the temps were low. And after being sick all week, spending Saturday with my mama, and stopping by to visit my grandma-I had to have my chest covered thoroughly in that morning hawk (or mama and granny would've gave me the "When you've been sick all week..." speech). And speaking of "Where's Waldo?" I recently came across a photo of Waldo below and thought it may induce a smile for at least 5.7 seconds. Hope the weekend was good to you!

 

 

Fix Yo Face x Happy Place

My sister is use to photographing PHOTOGENIC people...and then she has to deal with me; bless her heart! "FIX YO FACE!!!" she yelled over and over again...she was so sick of saying that, she then told me "DO NOT LOOK BACK UP, LOOK AT THE GROUND!" LOL! So I did...I held my laugh in and looked at the ground. Just wanted to showcase some colors I'm sure you may already have in your closet...if you haven't already please give them a try, they'll take you to that HAPPY PLACE!
