Still Not Over

With the return of the knee-high and above gladiator sandals this Spring/Summer (Yay!!!) we all know fashion repeats itself over and over and over again. And fashion’s returns will make you want or think back on some of the items you wanted years back. Well at least in my fashion crazed mind that happens! And if you read this blog on a regular you know I have no problem stating the fashion that I’m still not over.

Like Balenciaga Gladiator Moroccan Boots from Spring/Summer 2008. Still get butterflies in my tummy when I view them.

And can't forget the Givenchy gladiators from Spring/Summer 2008. Still not over these gladiator heels…and I don’t think I ever will be.

If you managed to get your hands on the goodness above, or a similar pair, back in 2008 and still have them I have 3 words for you WEAR THEM NOW!

SIDE-NOTE: Up the leg gladiators and suntan lines will be a sight to see!

THROWBACK THURSDAY: CASHMERE MAFIA

They wore haute outfits:

Their apartments were some of the chicest on TV:

And then just like that...they were GONE!

Cashmere Mafia end came when I was trying to catch up on the shows (January 6, 2008 to February 20, 2008). The debut was right around the time reality TV begin to rule. I wonder what would've became of the mafia if it wasn't for reality...

Throwback Thursday: Kelis circa 2001-2006

Before natural hair became trendy, before thrifted looks became trendy, before DO YOU became trendy there was LAURYN HILL...and KELIS (to name a few).
I've been a Kelis style stalker since day one...I am not ashamed.

Did yall peep the throwback watermarks on some of the photos? Teehee...

THROWBACK THURSDAY: So High

Who else jumped on the multiple button HIGH WAIST denim trend in 2007/2008? I know I’m not the only one…heck I even had my niece in a pair LOL!
