While Christmas outlet shopping, for the pre-teens and teens in my life, I stopped by RUE21 to see if they had any teeny-bopper garb. I ended up buying a tartan maxi skirt with side splits, for myself, for $5.00. I ended up tucking/pinning the skirt to my likings added dark denim jeans and a chunky black sweater to the mix and with that I had an outfit to wear on Christmas day. Below are a few IPHONE photos that show the completed look. I think I have mentioned that I am a fan of comfy clothing for myself. If not, I AM A FAN OF COMFY CLOTHING FOR MYSELF…hope your Christmas was all you hoped it would be!

SIDE-NOTE: I’ve wanted the CELINE creepers for what seems like FOREVER and I ended up snagging a similar pair for $30 at FOREVER21. I figured I’d throw that info out there just in case you were feeling the shoes. Below is also a photo of the CELINE creepers to give you an idea of what I’d been stalking…

MY KIN IS A FOOL (AND SO AM I)

My sister…I no longer consider her a Jay-Z fan or stan…at the moment she’s a Jay-Z FOOL! Over the years I have lost count of the amount of Jay-Z concerts I have attended with her. We have attended Jay-Z concerts with groups of friends then it dwindled down to just two of our friends. Well after the last Jay-Z concert I attended with her, in 2011, I vowed to not attend another show. I mean I love Jigga…I am a regular fan…I can actually miss a show-----no big deal. After I stated I wouldn’t attend another Jay-Z concert my sister sadly said that was fine. But by September she could not take it anymore…she felt as if she HAD to be at an upcoming show in Houston. After I gave in to her whining she went to purchase the tickets and realized the 12/20/13 Houston show was SOLD OUT.

So I guess the above would let one know why I was at Jay-Z’s 12/21/13 San Antonio show in the outfit below. And this time she was able to drag just one of our friends with us on that road trip. The others said HECK NO! I need to learn how to be like the “the others”…my sister wins every time.

Speaking of maternity clothes two of my cousins delivered babies on December 4^th …one’s a boy---the other a girl. In the short time they’ve been out of the oven they have been such a blessing to my family (But a stressing to my pocketbook!). I’m still elated at the fact that the baby girl is my goddaughter. Her mother asked me months ago but I’m still excited and jittery like she just asked minutes ago…guess you can tell that title means A LOT to me. So in 2014 you will see a few baby style posts here and there!
